It turns out that Optifine was more of a pain than a benefit for us. gave up on Optifine and pulled it out from our pack and that fixed the problem. Can horses be hitched to the chest wagon yet? There's been at least 2 updates since I've tried. You might also enjoy Electroblob's to be a pest.
